Who runs this site?
Podsvergleich is run by Liquid LLC and is an offering of the Holster brand. Holster does not make pods, but liquids. Holster liquids therefore appear as “Editorial recommendation (Holster)” for refillable pods and are labelled as such. Full details of the operator can be found in the imprint.
Where does the data come from?
All values are manufacturer information from the product data: compatible devices, contents, nicotine strength and nicotine type, and for refillable pods the resistance. If a pod series exists in several flavours, we combine it into one entry and state the number of flavours in the database. The data date is shown on every page under “Last updated”. We do not carry out our own measurements.
How are the pods sorted?
All pods appear alphabetically by brand. The division into prefilled and refillable pods is based on the manufacturer’s product designation.
What do ✓, – and “not specified” mean?
- ✓ The information is available and applies.
- – The information is available and does not apply.
- not specified The manufacturer provides no information on this. We do not estimate values and never equate missing information with “no”.
Compatibility
We only state whether a pod fits a device as the manufacturer states it. Our own trial results or user reports are not included.
Images
We only show photos of the original packaging or manufacturer images that we have checked beforehand. We do not use images with watermarks, retailer logos or advertising overlays. If no checked image is available, the product does not appear in the comparison. Mandatory warnings on packaging remain unchanged.
What we do not do
We do not award points, grades or placements and do not rate products of other brands. There are no prices and no links to retailers.
